[Nov. 15th, 2009|05:57 pm] |
Necropolis is entering it's 8th year of bringing Orlando the best in industrial - EBM - synthpop - electro. So come help us celebrate our 7th anniversary on November 25th, Thanksgiving Eve. It'll be a HUGE night full of fun, friends, dancing, drinking and all around debauchery.
Sadly, this will also be DJ Nothing's final night of DJing at Necropolis before he sets of on the next leg of his life in Los Angeles with his gorgeous fiancee, Aurora. So please come out to say goodbye to someone who has been an integral part of Necropolis since the beginning. This will also mark DJ Synthestruct's move into becoming one of our regular Wednesday openers. Lots of changes abound.

| TONIGHT: DRAG ME TO HELL Movie Party at Necropolis! |
[May. 20th, 2009|06:19 pm] |

We'll be giving away posters, t-shirts, and more, plus passes to the advance screening at AMC Universal.
DRAG ME TO HELL
Director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man trilogy, Evil Dead series) returns to the horror genre with Drag Me To Hell, an original tale of a young woman’s desperate quest to break an evil curse.
Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) is an ambitious L.A. loan officer with a charming boyfriend, professor Clay Dalton (Justin Long). Life is good until the mysterious Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) arrives at the bank to beg for an extension on her home loan. Should Christine follow her instincts and give the old woman a break? Or should she deny the extension to impress her boss, Mr. Jacks (David Paymer), and get a leg-up on a promotion? Christine fatefully chooses the latter, shaming Mrs. Ganush and dispossessing her of her home.
In retaliation, the old woman places the powerful curse of the Lamia on Christine, transforming her life into a living hell. Haunted by an evil spirit and misunderstood by a skeptical boyfriend, she seeks the aid of seer Rham Jas (Dileep Rao) to save her soul from eternal damnation. To help the shattered Christine return her life to normal, the psychic sets her on a frantic course to reverse the spell. As evil forces close in, Christine must face the unthinkable: how far will she go to break free of the curse? |

| No Necropolis Tonight :^( |
[Sep. 4th, 2008|12:35 pm] |
They're still doing the remodeling, so The Independent Bar will be closed tonight which sucks hard. I apologize to everyone, but completely out of my hands. I was told the remodeling would be done in 2 days and I guess they severely underestimated that timetable.
We will be back next week and the club will have a new look. So go to Ginger's gig at the AKA tonight and support her and the bands there and we'll see you next week.
